Tales from the kitchen

Our down-home cooking starts early each morning with the very best ingredients, purchased fresh everyday. We do it just like Daddy did over 60 years ago! Somethings shouldn't change! We make sure all of our sauces, seasonings and dishes taste just as delicious whenever you enjoy them. Whether you're looking for family dinner on a busy night or to savor the down-home goodness you remember as a kid, you will always get our very best!

A Brief History

Our story starts way before the opening of our first restaurant, it starts with the obsession we have for amazing food. This was our drive to open the doors of our first restaurant in 1972 in Pikeville, North Carolina, named "Bucks Restaurant", launched by the late Aref Alawar.

That was just the beginning, soon after, we opened several restaurants across Wayne County, Triangle Restaurant, Rudy's One, Rudy's Two, Willmas Grill, Central Lunch and then Dee's Diner. We bring over 100 years of experience and knowledge in food business and this clearly defines our passion for what we do. We don't make food that just fills us up. We make it to satisfy our taste buds!

We've come a long way since those early days and are grateful for the support of our community, and our loyal locals who made our journey prosperous and more popular. A lot has changed since 1972 but our passion for food has only grown bigger and bigger, and the new generation is following the legacy of success.

We are committed to continue that tradition, offering and serving our happy customers an amazing dining experience, as we strive to make your favorite restaurant in town. At Fry Daddy's, we don't just offer good food. We offer a place to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends, a place to relax and be energized.

All our foods are prepared fresh. We do not use additives or artificial coloring and we support the local community. We are committed to keep on delivering a unique dining experience. We appreciate your visit and hope you had a good experience and made some new memories.
